Zubeen Garg hospitalised, out of danger

GUWAHATI, Feb 28 - Popular singer Zubeen Garg has been admitted to a private hospital after he fell sick while attending an event at the Gauhati Town Club this evening.

Doctors attending on Garg however stated that the singer was out of danger. Doctors further said that all vital health parameters of the singer are being monitored and Garg will be kept under observation for some time.

�Garg was shifted to the ICU immediately after he was brought to the hospital,� hospital sources said, adding, �It is only after proper diagnosis that the requisite line of treatment will be followed�.

Those present at the Gauhati Town Club event informed that Garg fell unconscious while he was approached by media-persons for his comment. His wife Garima Saikia Garg was also present at the venue.

Immediately after the news of the celebrity singer falling sick spread, fans and well-wishers of Garg rushed to the hospital and prayed for his speedy recovery.

State Cabinet minister Naba Kumar Doley visited the hospital to enquire about the health condition of the singer.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in a statement prayed for speedy recovery of the singer.
