GUWAHATI, Oct 20 � Noted sports organiser Zakir Ahmed died here today due to old age ailment. He was 94.
Ahmed was a popular person in the sporting circle in the Guwahati Sports Association. He was the founder president of the Assam Kabaddi Association and was also president of the Guwahati Referee�s Association. He leaves behind three daughters.
