DERGAON, Dec 15 - The circulation of newspapers, including The Assam Tribune, has increased following the ban on mobile internet services in 10 districts of Assam.

As there is no internet connection on mobile phones, people are depending on newspapers to get information about the happenings in the State as well as across the nation.

Prasanta Dutta, the owner of a leading book stall in Dergaon, said the demand for daily newspapers, including The Assam Tribune, was the highest on Friday in his 27-year-long career as a bookseller.
