TEZPUR, Aug 5 - Sensation prevailed at Dhekiajuli as three tantriks were handed over to the police by the local people recently.
According to the police, the three tantriks identified as Sukumar Das, Bharat Das and Govinda Das were detained by the local people, after they were treating a woman suspecting her to be a witch. �The trio was detained from 15 No. Line of Dhekiajuli Tea Estate� police said. According to sources, the trio was engaged in cheating the local people in the name of black magic. Sources further informed that the trio was trying to cure the woman stating that she was a witch and had siphoned off money from the household.
