GUWAHATI, Jan 3 - Showcasing the essentials of Assamese wedding, the first North East Wedding Expo will be held at Vrindavan Garden, Zoo Tiniali here from February 10 to 14.
Organised by Events Unlimited, the expo would bring together a variety of wedding related requirements like Assamese wedding wear, jewellery, make-up, beauty products, tour planners, spa, fitness and nutrition, decorators, caterers, matrimonial bureaus, gift items and accessories.
An event conceptualised by US-based Jupitora Das, having decades of experience of working in conventions, exhibitions, special events and in weddings along with her own art exhibitions throughout the USA.
The five-day wedding expo would have a fashion show choreographed by fashion designer Dipankar Kashyap on the second day of the event, on February 11 evening. The fashion show will highlight the works of some selective participating designers.
