GUWAHATI, Feb 12 - The State Directorate of Handloom & Textiles is organising a mega weavers� convention at Amingaon off the city on February 15.
Around 20,000 weavers from eight districts of the State are expected to participate in the meet.
The weavers� convention is aimed at highlighting the contribution of the weavers to the State�s economy and making them aware about various government schemes.
