GUWAHATI, May 1 - A miscreant smashed a car window in broad daylight near Jorpukhuri at Uzan Bazar under the Latasil Police Station here today and stole the wallet of the owner which was kept in the seat.
The incident occurred around 1.30 pm when Dr Manoj Barman parked his car (AS01 DJ 4849) near Jorpukhuri. The wallet contained several personal documents including Voter ID, PAN card, driving licence, three ATM cards, a credit card and Rs 1,000 in cash.
In another incident, a drunk man pelted stone at a car in Maligaon area and broke its rear glass yesterday. A case was lodged at the Maligaon Police Outpost in this connection.
