VHP aiming to strengthen base in Tripura

AGARTALA, Jan 24 - Aiming to strengthen organisational set up in the Marxist-ruled Tripura, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Dr Pravin Bhai Togadia is set to arrive here today, official sources said here.

During his visit, Dr Togadia is scheduled to attend a number of programmes in Dharmanagar, Agartala, Kanchanpur and Kumarghat.

At Rabindra Bhavan, the VHP leader would address a public rally on January 27 while he will have an interactive session with students of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala on the same day.

Dr Togadia will also have a meeting with Karkaryas at Nahabat here on the same day. On the following day, he would visit Satnala, a village of Kanchanpur subdivision of North district to lay foundation stone of Sadak Shanti Kali Memorial Hospital. At Satnala Class XII school ground, the VHP leader will address an open rally.

On the same day, Dr Togadia will also address a meeting at Dharmanagar Town Hall and Laxminarayan Mandir at Kumrghat. The VHP leader will leave the State on January 29.
