IMPHAL, March 21 - Assam Rifles troops along with police launched an operation in Sikibung Tangkhul area in Manipur�s Ukhrul district and apprehended a cadre of the armed group MNRF on Sunday, a press release said.
The militant was identified as VS Yaruingam revealed that he had masterminded the IED blast at Ukhrul on February 14 this year along with another cadre of MNRF. He was handed over to Police, the release said.
In another operation, an active cadre of UNLF was apprehended by Assam Rifles troops from Kakmayi in Thoubal district on Monday.
