SONARI, Jan 12: A wild elephant was killed by miscreants on Friday night at Naganadi Bongaon beside Abhoipur Forest Reserve under Sonari Forest Range.
The bullet-riddled body of the jumbo was recovered on Saturday. The tusks and trunk of the elephant was hacked off by the miscreants.
Earlier on October 15 last, miscreants killed an elephant inside Abhoipur Forest Reserve and buried it after stealing its tusks and trunk.
