MUSHALPUR, Oct 15 - A male elephant aged around ten years was found dead near Bagarikhuti village under Kumarikata Forest Range in Nagrijuli area on Friday morning.
Aherd of elephants came to the paddy fields in search of food the earlier night and one of them was found dead next day. The elephant was buried by the concerned department after post-mortem. Pesticides sprayed in the crops consumed by the elephant is said to be the cause of its death. Another elephant was found dead due to electrocution near Arangajuli a month ago.
