GUWAHATI, April 17 - Basistha police today seized two trucks loaded with bitumen from Bhagawati Parking area, and arrested two persons.
The registration numbers of the vehicles � NL02Q5844 and NL01Q7866 � were found to be fake, police said. The two arrested men have been identified as Daljit Singh Gill (30) of Kolkata and Sanjay Kumar Shah (28) of Pamohi, Guwahati.
�We are verifying if the vehicles were stolen,� a police official said. A case has been registered under sections 420, 407, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
