Tripura Dy CM to meet Modi, Amit Shah today

AGARTALA, Aug 27 - Tripura Dy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma on Monday left for Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party�s national president Amit Shah and all India general secretary Ram Madhav, according to sources.

The Dy Chief Minister is scheduled to meet the Prime Minister in Delhi on August 28 with a long wishlist � increase in MGNREGA outlay, empowerment of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), Prime Minister Awas Yojana and rural electrification drive.

However, increase in MGNREGA outlay will be on the top of agenda as the State needs immediate fund to provide jobs to the rural people especially in tribal dominated areas, according to sources.
