GUWAHATI, Sept 21 - Vehicular traffic virtually came to a standstill for nearly an hour after a section of students of B Borooah College converged on the road (B Borooah Road) outside the college as a mark of protest over some student body election-related issues this afternoon, leading to severe traffic congestion.
Police teams were rushed to the spot to streamline the movement of vehicular traffic on the route.
The students� body election is due on September 23.
