BONGAIGAON, Jan 31 - A toll gate on National Highway-31 at Doholapara in Chirang district was reopened on Thursday.
Inaugurating the toll gate, State Tourism Minister Chandan Brahma hoped that the national highway will be maintained properly by the revenue collected by the gate.
Haryana�s Gurgaon-based farm Skylark Infra Engineering Private Limited has bagged the contract to manage the toll gate. The firm�s General Manager Satish Yadav, Chirang Deputy Commissioner Gautam Talukdar and Bijni SDPO Prakash Medhi were present at the inaugural ceremony of the gate.
Around 40 youths of the locality have been absorbed by the management of the toll gate, local youth Kamaleswar Ray informed.
