Tinsukia RC Memorial Hospital to have more facilities

TINSUKIA, Sept 1 - The 30-bed RC Agarwal Memorial Hospital situated at Makum Road, Tinsukia would be developed to provide more medical facilities to the people of the area. This was announced by HP Budhia, Chairman of Patton Group in a meeting organised to felicitate him at the hospital premises on Tuesday.

Budhia said that an amount of Rs 1 crore will be utilised for the purpose. He added that as per the suggestion of the hospital management, the number of cabins would be increased. More importantly, he all laboratory machines and equipment would be replaced by the modern ones so that patients get exact results of the tests. Recognising the need for more dialysis machines, he said that two more machines will be added to the existing two.

The private sector hospital established in the year 2002 with the management collaboration of Medica Super-speciality Hospital and run by the HP Budhia Charitable Trust is providing medical facilities with a group of nine permanent physicians and seven visiting doctors of different streams to the people of the region 24 hours of the day. The chairman of the trust of the hospital further stated that he would strengthen the resident technical staff by increasing staff quarters in the hospital campus. He extended his gratitude to the people of Tinsukia for trusting the medical facilities of the hospital with more and more patients getting treatment in the hospital and stated that the profits from the hospital business would be used for the all-round development of the hospital only. The chairman was felicitated by many organisations and individuals on his visit to Tinsukia.
