GUWAHATI, Jan 18 - Sports fans across India can now book their tickets online for the 12th South Asian Games to be jointly hosted by Guwahati and Shillong from February 5 to 16, stated a release.
The Organising Committee for the Games has planned to sell tickets online for all the 23 sporting disciplines through its partner website www.ticketgenie.in along with Opening and Closing ceremonies. The tickets will also be available for sale at the ticket counters across all venues.
Preparations for the mega sporting event have already gathered pace with the date for the Opening Ceremony of the Games closing in. The 12-day sporting extravaganza will begin on February 5 with a grand Opening Ceremony at the Sarusajai Sports Complex.
The entire 12-day event will witness a large contingent of international athletes from eight participating nations battling against each other to establish their supremacy in 23 different sporting disciplines.
