MANGALDAI, Aug 26 - Cops of Kharupetia Police Station in Darrang on Monday arrested three dreaded robbers from different locations under their jurisdiction. The arrested accused are wanted in connection with several cases of robbery registered in different police stations of the State including Guwahati city, said Sub Inspector Biraj Mohan Deka, Officer in Charge of Kharupetia Police Station.
The robbers are Samraz Ali of NC Kharupetia, Bahajul Ali of Nimtoli and Hafijul Ali of Tilapatti. A cash amount of Rs 4,000 was seized from their possession while police is carrying on interrogation for vital clues of the investigation, Officer in Charge Deka added.
