NAGAON, June 1 - A teacher was raped and killed by unidentified miscreants near Hojai last night. Police are yet to nab the culprits.
In another development at Hatisila near Lumding, three youths dragged a girl to a nearby temple and raped her. However, the local people managed to nab an accused, one Subham Das. Das was later handed over him to the police. But the two other accused are still absconding.
Police investigation is on in both the cases.
