KRISHNAGIRI (TN), Oct 26 (PTI) - A suspected Bodo militant from Assam was taken into custody on the outskirts of Hosur in the district today.
The man identified as Longtung was detained on suspicion following information from Assam Police, police said.
Longtung, working in a private industrial unit in Hosur, was being questioned, police said, adding, three others who had provided him shelter had also been "secured".
"We have not yet officially arrested him. We have secured and kept him at Hosur police station. We can confirm whether he is a terrorist only after the arrival of Assam Police," Krishnagiri Superintendent of Police AG Babu told PTI.
The Assam Police has been informed and were on their way to Hosur.
