GUWAHATI, April 25 - With the intention of initiating dialogue with regard to sustainable and inclusive development in the North-east region, the Assam Kaziranga University, in association with CSIR-NISTADS, is organising a three-day national summit, titled North-east Sustainable and Inclusive Development Summit - 2018 (NESIDS - 2018) at its premises on April 26-28, a press release said here today.
NESIDS - 2018 aims at highlighting India�s Northeast as a critical hotspot for the convergence of sustainable and inclusive development, leading to the overall holistic growth and progress of the region. During the course of the three-day summit, a platform for experts and thought leaders from different sectors of premier organisations from across the country would be provided to discuss, deliberate and arrive at a policy roadmap for sustainable and inclusive development of the North-east, the release added.
