GUWAHATI, May 24 A large number of students thronged the TRP Indoor Stadium in Guwahati today to get maximum benefit on the last day of the Assam Tribune EduFair in the city.

The mega educational event would be organized in Dibrugarh on May 26 and 27 at DDSA Indoor Stadium, Chowkidinghee.

Whereas educational institutions of management, technical and hospitality sectors got the maximum attention in Guwahati this time, a good number of youngsters were also interested in knowing about some new courses in the field of architecture, aviation and safety management.

Since this educational fair brings a large number of reputed educational institutions under one roof, it also helps in understanding the latest trends of the educational sector. With the feedbacks from the students, we try to improve the fair every year and bring new courses to cater to the needs of the students, the organizers said.

Along with various colleges and universities of national repute, many local educational institutions also participated in the fair. Guwahati is a major city of the entire region. Thus, students from various other States of the North East and different areas of Assam came to our stall to enquire about the courses and hostel facilities available in our institute. Moreover, through such fairs, we also gather information about the courses available in other national institutions of our field that helps in analyzing and updating our own course contents, representative of a city-based technical institute mentioned.

On its last day today, more than 2,000 students visited the EduFair in Guwahati.

Like in Guwahati, we are expecting a good crowd in Dibrugarh also, where 55 reputed educational institutions are taking part. This year, the event in Dibrugarh would be bigger than its last two editions, said the organizers.
