GUWAHATI, July 27 - The 10th All Assam Senior Men�s Hockey Championship got off at Misa Stadium, Kaliabor today.
On the opening day six matches were played. In today�s matches, Bongaigaon beat LNAP 2-1, Kaliabor beat Guwahati 4-0, Morigaon beat Sivasagar 6-1, Misa HA beat Margherita 10-0, Silchar beat Hojai 4-1, Nagaon beat Tezpur 5-3.
Tapan Das, secretary of the Assam Hockey was the chief guest in the inaugural function where SS Sathi, Mohan Bora, A Saha, Ranal Sarma were also present.
