South Kamrup DC visits Hahim

GUWAHATI, March 3 - Senior officials of the newly-formed South Kamrup district visited interior areas of Hahim yesterday and took stock of the various issues affecting the remote region.

The officials were led by South Kamrup Deputy Commissioner Rajib Prakash Barua and Superintendent of Police Prasanta Saikia.

Speaking to The Assam Tribune, Barua said that the visit was intended to understand the problems affecting the area, which lies in a remote zone.

The DC and other officials interacted with the locals and assured them of all assistance in improving the civic infrastructure in the area.
