Sonowal meets noted persons in Jorhat

JORHAT, June 17 - As part of the nation-wide �Sampark se samarthan� programme of BJP, a party delegation led by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday visited the residences of retired professor of JB College, Mukul Chaliha and educationist and founder of Jonaki Sangha Vidyalaya, Sashiprobha Borgohain.

Sonowal, accompanied by Jorhat MP KP Tasa and local party leaders, briefed them about the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre in the past four years and of his government in the last two years.

On June 12, BJP national organisational secretary (North East) Ajay Jamwal had launched the drive here by visiting the residence of former Supreme Court Judge SN Phukon.
