BARPETA, May 24 - Chief Minister-designate Sarbananda Sonowal said that he is aware of the aspirations of the people in the State and will leave no stone unturned to fulfil them.

Talking to mediapersons at the Krishnaguru Sewasram at Nasatra in Barpeta district on Monday, Sonowal expressed confidence that the new Government will be able to meet the expectations of the people, i.e., those who have opted for a change of guard at Dispur.

Regarding his association with the Krishnaguru Sewasram here, Sonowal said that he regards parents as Adi Guru and regards the Krishnaguru as the Diksha Guru, who has taught him the message of spirituality. He acknowledged all the pervading spirit of the Krishnaguru throughout his life and attributed the present position to the blessings of the Guru.

Sonowal was in the ashram for a short time during which he met the Krishnaguru in his residence and talked to him. He also offered prayer in the temple of the Ashram and interacted with the devotees.
