Sitting Guwahati West MLA releases manifesto

GUWAHATI, April 2 - Sitting MLA of Guwahati West constituency Hemanta Talukdar, who recently quit the Congress party after being denied a party ticket, released his manifesto today, promising accelerated development in his next stint if voted to the State Assembly again.

Releasing his manifesto, Talukdar said that the Congress candidate Juri Sarma Bordoloi will not be a factor for him and it would be a straight fight between him and the AGP candidate.

Talukdar said that he would strive to complete all the works that remained incomplete in his last stint as a legislator. The manifesto assured that the overall development of the people of the constituency will be addressed.
