MANGALDAI, Dec 1 - Local outfit Sira Seuji Sangha will clash with Kehutoli Bangrim Sports Club for the title in the 39th Amba Medhi Prize- money Football Tournament, organised by Mangaldai Sports Association.
In the second semifinal played at the Nehru Maidan, Chapai here on Saturday, Sira Seuji got the better of Goreswar Ancholik Tribal Sanggha 5-3 via tie breaker after the match ended in a 1-1 draw in the regulation time.
Soumkhar Swargiary gave the Sira Seuji the vital lead in the very first minute. However the lead did not last long and in the 15th minute Kishore Das got the equaliser for Goreswar. In the penalty shoot out Soumkhar Swargiary, Mijing Basumatary Daimu Swargiary and Tinku Barglary found the net for the winners while for Goreswar only Chittaranjan Boro and Bigrai Boro were successful. The final will be played from 2 pm on Sunday.
