GUWAHATI, Jan 15 - Popular singer Babu Baruah who is known for his charitable activities, launched his project Abelir Xadhu: Aitar Pojat Umal Bhogali on January 12 as a pre-Bhogali Bihu celebration under the flagship programme �It�s Possible: Save a life�, at Mothers� Old Age Home, Sijubari here.
According to a press release issued today, the project included medical support to the mothers of the old age home. It was followed by a brief cultural function. The stage was shared by popular singer Kusum Koilash.
Dr Apurba Talukdar, vice principal of NETES Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Sanjay Chowdhury, proprietor of BM Pharma, were present on the occasion.
