UKHRUL, Jan 31 � The 31st death anniversary of former Manipur Chief Minister late Yangmaso Shaiza was held at Tangrei in Ukhrul district headquarters on Friday.
The gathering at the anniversary has urged the State Government to construct a park with a statue of the great leader either at the State capital Imphal or at his hometown Ukhrul to acknowledge the achievements of the Tangkhul leader. Shaiza was assassinated in Imphal in front of the family in Nagaram, Imphal on January 30,1984.
