GUWAHATI, Oct 12 - Services will lock horns with Tripura in a Group C Ranji Trophy match at the Assam Cricket Association�s Barsapara stadium here from tomorrow.
In their lung openers of the season, Services (197) conceded a 51-run first innings lead against Haryana (248) in Mumbai while Tripura (118) also fell 137 runs short in the first innings against Chhattisgarh (255) in Ranchi. Both the matches ended in a draw.
The match is likely to be disturbed by rain which spoilt the morning practice session of both the teams.
According to the curators the wicket is well covered and the outfield is also ready for the match. But if rain continues then there will be remote possibility of start of the four-day match tomorrow.
