Serow meat banned in Aizawl

AIZAWL, Dec 21 - Import and sale of Serow meat in Aizawl district has been banned. Deaths of the State animal Serow has been found in recent time in several parts of the State due to goat disease, an order said.

The prohibition has been made as consumption of the meat roasted or otherwise is not safe. The prohibition will be in force for two months with effect from December 8.
