GUWAHATI, Oct 17 - The Assam Science Society has instituted four new awards from the current year. These include the awards for best science teacher in secondary schools, best mathematics teacher in secondary schools, best branch of the Assam Science Society and for the best science worker of the Assam Science Society.
The Science Society has invited applications/nominations for these awards. Awards 1 and 2 are open to the science and mathematics teachers serving in the secondary schools of Assam which are affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education, Assam, while award number 3 is open to the Assam Science Society�s affiliated branches and award number 4 is open for the workers of the Assam Science Society.
