Science seminar at RSC tomorrow

GUWAHATI, Sept 5 - The annual State-level Students� Science Seminar is being organised by the Regional Science Centre (RSC), Guwahati, in collaboration with the Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam, on September 7.

The topic of the seminar will be �Industrial revolution 4.0: Are we prepared?�.

The objective of the seminar is to inculcate a spirit of scientific enquiry and analytical thinking in the minds of young students.

Any two students from Class VIII to Class X standards from each district of Assam will participate in the event.

Each participant will present his or her views on the topic for a maximum of six minutes with some visuals in the form of computer slides or charts.

The best presenter in the competition will be selected for the National Science Seminar to be held at the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bengaluru, on October 5.

Dr Bibeka Nanda Saikia, Dean of College of Veterinary Science, Assam Agricultural University, Guwahati, will be the chief guest in the valedictory function to be held at 3.30 pm on September 7 in the RSC complex here.
