Scholarship to 5 students

GUWAHATI, Feb 12 - Charitable trust Cluster of Stars, that has successfully completed two years providing free food, lodging and education to 12 students of classes V, VI and VII, has decided to offer scholarship to another five students, said a press release.

The scholarship includes free food, lodging and clothing from Class VII to any level equivalent to courses like medical, engineering, MBA, CA, etc., on completion of study in school and college with good marks.

Executive director of the trust Sanjay Kumar Barjatiya has informed that any physically and medically fit male child of NE region belonging to BPL category or whose annual family income is below one lakh rupees, and who has passed sixth standard during December 2019 or would clear sixth standard by April 2020 and is willing to stay in a hostel provided by the trust can appear for the test to be conducted on March 22 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Pragjyotish Senior Secondary School, West Boragaon in the city and other places of Assam where there are more than 20 students willing to appear for the test.

The test will be held in four languages � Assamese, Hindi, English and Bengali. The trust will select only five candidates for Class VII on merit basis.

Application forms can be collected from the office of the charitable trust located at Pandav Nagar, Pandu or downloaded from the website � www.clusterofstars.org. Last date for submission of application form is March 14, 2020, the release added.
