GUWAHATI, May 31 - The Court of Special Judge, Assam, today allowed Social Welfare department official Rajat Subra Bhattacharya, an accused in the multi-crore-rupee scam, to go on bail.
Bhattacharya was granted bail by Special Judge Ajit Barthakur after the investigating agency filed the chargesheet with securing prosecution sanction.
While advocate Bijon Mahajan appeared on behalf of the accused, public prosecutor PP Borah represented the State government.
