GUWAHATI, Sept 24 � Srimanta Sankardev Namghar Kalakristi Kendra, Pub-Sarania here is going to celebrate Srimanta Sankardev�s 566th birth anniversary with a three-day programme. On September 28 at 2.00 pm, a quiz competition on the lives and works of Srimanta Sankardev, Madhabdev, Damodardev and Haridev will be organised among the students from Class VII to XII.
On the evening of October 2 ceremonial lighting of lamps will be performed by Ganesh Chandra Gogoi, adviser of the namghar, followed by nam-prasanga. The third day�s programme would comprise namprasanga led by Manohar Talukdar, the mulbhakat of the Namghar, in the morning, followed by a raligious meet on mahapurshia dharma where Badan Dolakasharia.
