MORIGAON, Oct 10 - With the centenary celebrations of the Asam Sahitya Sabha drawing near, the highest literary body of the State has decided to launch a special programme namely �Setubandhan aru Ujjiwan Yatra� commencing from tomorrow at Morigaon.
Dr Dhrubajyoti Bora, president, Asam Sahitya Sabha, while inviting all citizens of the State, irrespective of caste or religion has appealed to them to participate in this special programme. The inaugural public meeting of this programme will be held at the Morigaon Gandhi Bhavan tomorrow where the people may participate and share their views about the growth and development of Assamese language and literature besides the formation of Assamese nationality as a whole.
A special membership drive will also be launched in this programme, Dr Bora added.
