RPF rescues 2 minor girls

GUWAHATI, Nov 17 - The Railway Protection Force rescued two minor girls at the Rangiya Railway Station on Monday, a press release issued by RPF today stated.

On duty RPF constable NJ Barman noticed the two minor girls in a distressed condition near the entrance of the railway station. The girls, aged about 11 years and residents of Tamulpur, had left their homes without the knowledge of their parents.

The girls were later taken to the RPF post at Rangiya and handed over to Child Line, Kamrup.
