GUWAHATI, April 18 - London Bihu Committee, the oldest Rongali Bihutoli outside India, has celebrated the 32nd Rongali Bihu at Campion School Hall, Wingletye Lane, Hornchurch, London, stated a press release.
After the snacks of Bihu delicacies prepared by the Assamese diasporas, president of the Bihu organising committee, Dr Apurba Barua, welcomed the guests and gave a presentation of the cultural background of the Rongali Bihu. Barua claimed that the London Rongali Bihu was a huge success. Moreover, the richness and the variety of the raw talents among the diasporas have got a platform through this Bihu celebration.
�Unlike previous years, we did not have a guest artist from abroad but then the potential of the local talents more than made it up,� he said.
