IMPHAL, Dec 28 - A �Report on Land Use Survey of Manipur� under Manipur Strategic Statistical Survey Programme (MASSSP) using Remote Sensing & GIS was released in Imphal on Wednesday. Deputy Chief Minister Yumnam Joykumar Singh was the chief guest of the report releasing function.
The project, which will be implemented by Directorate of Economics & Statistics and Manipur Remote Sensing Applications Centre, will generate geo-database of nine-fold land use classes as per recommendation of Union Agriculture Ministry covering the State of Manipur.
