GUWAHATI, March 26 � The Guwahati city unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will observe Sri Ram Navami Tithi at its Panbazar office on March 28. The programme will start at 9 am with naam-kirtan and the devotees will then proceed to the Sitaram Thakurbari Temple at Fancy Bazar, according to a press release issued here today.
About 20 devotees would go on a pilgrimage to the Ram Janmabhoomi at Ayodhya, the Vishwanath Temple at Benaras and Prayag in Allahabad in the second week of May, the release added.
