GUWAHATI, July 17 � The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) and 25 organizations representing different ethnic groups have decided to bring out a rally in Guwahati on July 30 in protest against construction of mega dams.
This decision was taken in a meeting between the organizations here today. The meeting also decided to oppose any move to bring in the turbines for the lower Subansiri hydro power projects.
