Prompt initiative by Education dept hailed

UDALGURI, Feb 4 - Activating the state government�s transperancy in functioning, the Inspector of Schools of Udalguri district circle on Monday handed over the grants of provisional pension to three assistant teachers of three different high schools of Udalguri district in a simple function.

The function to this effect was chaired by Bhaben Deury, Inspector of Schools of Udalguri district where grants of provisional pension were handed over to Nabin Chandra Brahma, assistant teacher of Bhergaon Uccha Vidyapeeth, Bishnu Thakuria, assistant teacher of no. 2 Nalbari High School and Imrajul Hoque, assistant teacher of Lailongpara High School, all under the jurisdiction of Udalguri district. All the three teachers retired on Saturday. The meeting also felicitated Santoram Kachary, Deputy Inspector of Schools, who retired on January 31 last.

The Inspector of Schools, on the occasion, felicitated the retired teachers and the DI with arnai and phulam gamusa and wished their long healthy life and appealed to them to look after their respective schools as guardians even after retirement in the form of social service.
