JORABAT, Aug 24 - In order to highlight better patient care and to focus on patient safety, an orientation programme is being organised at the North East Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (NECHRI) Jorabat, by the Department of Social Work of the Assam Don Bosco University, Tepesia tomorrow.
The topic will be �Intergration of Social Workers into Healthcare�, where future social workers will be taught to promote a better relation with patients, to identify their problems and to sort out quick solutions.
A few students from the Nerim Group of Institutions and some from the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya will also take part in the programme.
Dr Gitartha Roymedhi, PGD Healthcare Management and Administration will be the speaker.
