GUWAHATI, Aug 14 - Governor Professor Jagdish Mukhi has mourned the death of Chhattisgarh Governor Balram Das Tandon who breathed his last�today.
In his condolence message, Professor Mukhi said, �Deeply grieved to learn the demise of Balram�Das Tandon. A prudent and towering personality in Indian public life, his death is an irreparable loss to the society.�
Professor Mukhi further said that Tandon was a multifaceted personality who�contributed greatly to public welfare.
He also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family, friends and prayed to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul.
