GUWAHATI, July 25 � Priyana Kalita of Assam won double crown in the OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament which concluded here today.
In the girls� under 16 singles final Priyana got the better of Shivani Amineni of Andhra Pradesh 5-7, 7-5, 7-6(5). In the boys� under 16 years age group Dhruv Sunish of Maharashtra also won double crown winning both the singles and doubles events.
In the prize distribution ceremony former State champion Prasanta Das and General Secretary of All Assam Tennis Association Ankush Dutta distributed the prizes.
The national level tournament was organised by the All Assam Tennis Association at its own complex, Chachal here.
The final results: (Girls� U-14) Shivani Amineni (AP) bt Sanya Singh (MH) 6-0/6-2. (Boys� U-14) D Suresh (TN) bt Amit Beniwal (HR) - 6-2/5-7/7-6(8). (Girls� U-16) Priyana Kalita (ASM) bt Shivani Ameneni (AP) 5-7/7-5/7-6(5). (Boys� U-16). Dhruv Sunish (MH) bt Yugal Bansal (DL) 6-3/6-1.
