GUWAHATI, Jan 25 � Seven police personnel of Assam have been selected for President�s police medals. The names of the police personnel for the President�s medals have been declared on the occasion of the Republic Day.
Police sources said here that RK Chandranathan, ADGP, Administration and AK Jha, ADGP, Modernisation have been selected for President�s medals for distinguished service.
Two policemen have been selected for President�s police medal for gallantry. They are Additional SP Satyajit Nath and constable Gokul Chetri. The police personnel selected for President�s police medal for meritorious service are Inspector Abu Sadique Md Taher, Havildar Kailash Nath and Constable BK Singh.
