GUWAHATI, June 11 - The Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd (APDCL) today resorted to load restriction on its 33-KV Bamunimaidam sub-station, resulting in power cuts in Silpukhuri and Gandhi Basti areas. There were also power cuts in some areas near Bhangagarh on GS Road as well as RG Baruah Road. Both power cuts were resorted to by the APDCL due to emergency maintenance work, said APDCL sources.
