TURA, Nov 29 - Swift police action led to rescue of a fish trader of Assam from Damas village in North Garo Hills district while he was being kidnapped recently.
The fish trader was kidnapped by a group of miscreants. Police launched an immediate search and rescue operation. The move paid off when the kidnappers on seeing the police ran away leaving the victim, according to police.
